लोकविद्या ताना-बाना पर बहस : कला-विद्यालोक की दस्तक
इस पोस्ट के साथ हम लोकविद्या ताना - बाना के विषय पर इस ब्लाग में एक वार्ता शुरू कर रहे हैं। यह वार्ता इसी विषय पर 24 फरवरी 2013 को मुंबई में प्रस्तावित बैठक की तैयारी का काम भी करेगी। इस बैठक का स्थान है - बायो मेडिकल एथिक्स सेण्टर, सेंट पायस कालेज, आरे रोड, गोरेगांव (पूर्व).
बहस हिंदी और अंग्रेजी दोनों में चलेगी।
विचार
लोकविद्या ताना - बाना के मार्फ़त एक ऐसी सार्वजनिक दुनिया की कल्पना करने और उसे बनाने का प्रयास है जहाँ आज के बहिष्कृत समाज के लिए पूरा स्थान हो, यानि मुख्यरूप से किसानों, कारीगरों, आदिवासियों, महिलाओं और छोटे-छोटे दुकानदारों से बने लोकाविद्याधर समाज की सहज अभिव्यक्तियों के लिए स्थान हो। वहां उनके मूल्यों, स्वाभाविक रिश्तों और संवेदनाओं के लिए स्थान हो तथा उन्हें मूर्ख और जाहिल न माना जाये, न कहा जा सके।ज़ाहिर है यह एक बड़े परिवर्तन का काम है और तभी संभव हो पायेगा जब ऐसे ज्ञान क्षेत्रों से पहल आये जो न लिखित शब्द से बंधे हैं और न साइंस की चौखट से ही। कला, भाषा, मीडिया और दर्शन कुछ ऐसे ही क्षेत्र हैं। इसे हम कला-विद्यालोक का नाम दे सकते हैं।
वार्ता
लोकविद्या जन आन्दोलन के नवम्बर 2011 के वाराणसी अधिवेशन के समय से ही यह वार्ता शुरू है। इसी दौर में लोकविद्या तान-बाना का विचार बना और उसके अंतर्गत वार्ताएं जारी रहीं। ये बातें हमारी पत्रिका लोकविद्या पंचायत के पन्नों में, विद्या आश्रम की वेब साईट पर और कुछ इस ब्लाग पर आती रही हैं। अभी हाल में 11 दिसम्बर 2012 को अंग्रेजी में और 6 जनवरी 2013 को हिंदी में इसी ब्लाग पर वह सामग्री डाली गयी जो इस वर्तमान ब्लाग वार्ता तथा 24 फरवरी 2013 की मुंबई बैठक के लिए ठोस सन्दर्भ बनाती है। कृपया उसे अवश्य देखें।आपकी भागीदारी

प्रमुख बिंदु
- एक नयी न्यायसंगत दुनिया बनाने का दिशा बोध ज्ञान की दुनिया से मिलना है। यह समाज और प्रकृति के साथ संवेदना के ज्ञान की दुनिया है।
- समाज और प्रकृति के साथ संवेदना की कसौटी पर खरा उतरने वाला ज्ञान कला, भाषा, दर्शन और मीडिया के क्षेत्रों में दिखाई देता है। इसे ही कला-विद्यालोक कहा गया है।
- कला-विद्यालोक ने साइंस की हुकूमत को कभी नहीं माना। यहीं से परिवर्तन, प्रगतिशीलता, उन्नति और सभ्यता के नए मूल्य आने हैं।
- लोगों के उन आपसी संबंधों का ताना-बाना जिनकी मध्यस्थता पूँजी, विश्वविद्यालय या सत्ता के प्रतिष्ठानों द्वारा नहीं होती, उसे लोकविद्या ताना-बाना कहते है।
- लोकविद्या ताना-बाना को महसूस करना, समझना और अभिव्यक्त करना कला-विद्यालोक की गतिवधियां हैं।
- लोकविद्या ताना-बाना सार्वजनिक महत्व हासिल करे इसमें कला-विद्यालोक की बड़ी भूमिका है।
- लोकविद्या ताना-बाना एक नए न्यायसंगत, लोकोन्मुख परिवर्तन का मंच है।
- साइंस के दबदबे में लोकप्रिय हुआ 'वस्तुपरक' दुनिया का दर्शन अब सूचना युग में टूट रहा है और विश्व रचना के दर्शन में मनुष्य के संबंधों, उनके भाव व अर्थ तथा संचार-संपर्क की वास्तविकताओं का मौलिक स्थान पहचाना जा रहा है।
- सामाजिक मीडिया के विस्तार के साथ एक नए दर्शन और नयी राजनीति का उदय हो रहा है। ये दर्शन और राजनीति तब तक एकांगी रहेंगे जब तक लोकविद्या ताना-बाना को सामाजिक मीडिया का हिस्सा नहीं माना जाता।
- साइंस ने इस दुनिया को एक त्रासदी बना रखा है। इससे मुक्ति के युगांतरकारी परिवर्तन की पहल कला-विद्यालोक से आनी है। लोकविद्या ताना-बाना वह स्थान है जहाँ से यह कार्य शुरू होता है।
- लोकविद्या ताना-बाना को सजीव, सक्रिय और सार्वजनिक बनाना एक ज्ञान आन्दोलन है जो कला-विद्यालोक से वैसा ही रिश्ता रखता है जैसा एक समय अपने यहाँ का युगांतरकारी ज्ञान आन्दोलन भक्ति की दुनिया के साथ रखता था।

Lokavidya Tana-bana : Debating the Role of Art, Language, Philosophy and Media
With this post we are starting on this blog a dialogue on Lokavidya Tana-bana. It will also prepare us for the proposed meeting on this subject in Mumbai on 24th Feb. 2013. Venue- Bio-medical Ethics Center, St. Pius College, Arey Road, Goregaon East.
One can write in Hindi or English.
The Idea
Lokavidya Tana-bana is an attempt at imagining and constructing that public realm where there will be full participation of the externed of this society. Those who live by lokavidya, namely peasants, artisans, adivasis, women and small shopkeepers, will have a full opportunity to express and participate freely in the society, a world where their values, sensitivities and relationships will find a natural place and they will not be considered stupid or uneducated.
This is a tall order and will be possible only if initiatives come from such areas of epistemic activity which are not bound down by the written word or by the analytic order laid down by science.The areas of art, language, media and philosophy are some such areas. This is popularly known as the world of Humanities. Not a world of Humanities as a world of study but as a world of activity and creativity.
The Dialogue
This dialogue has started since the Varanasi Conference of Lokavidya Jan Andolan in November 2011. It is during this period that the idea of Lokavidya Tana-bana got shaped and became the focus of this dialogue. It found place in the pages of Lokavidya Panchayat, our Hindi periodical, on the Vidya Ashram website and on this blog. On this blog two posts, one in English and one in Hindi have already appeared which provide the concrete context now for this blog-dialogue and the proposed meeting in Mumbai on 24th Feb. 2013. To open the dialogue we have prepared some points which are given below. These are written very briefly, leaving as much scope as we could for others to come forward and say what they want to say. You may comment on any one of these points or you may write your views independent of them. If you send your write-up to us, we will post it on the blog. Main Points
- The direction for the movement towards a just world is to come from the world of knowledge. This is the world of knowledge which is sensitive towards and harmonious with nature and society.
- Knowledge that is true to nature and society is seen in the areas of art, language, philosophy and media, namely the world of Humanities.
- These areas of art, language, philosophy and media constitute a world ( that of Humanities) outside and beyond the dictat of science. It is from these areas that the new values and understanding of change, progress and civilized life are to come.
- Relations and connections between people which are not mediated by capital, university or state, may be said to constitute the Lokavidya Tana-bana.
- It is in Humanities and through it that one can relate with, understand and give expression to, that is represent, articulate, communicate about, Lokavidya Tana-bana.
- The world of humanities is to play a great role in Lokavidya Tana-bana assuming public significance.
- Lokavidya Tana-bana is the forum where the game-change is to take place in favor of justice and the people.
- The scientific ontology of an objective world of things and forces is being shown the door in this Information age and the relationships between human beings, communication, connectivity, meaning and such like are being seen as essentially constituting the world.
- A new philosophy and a new politics is emerging hand-in-glove with the development of social media. Such philosophy and politics will remain one-sided if Lokavidya Tana-bana is not seen as an essential part of social media.
- Science has turned this world into a tragedy. It is only from the world of Humanities that initiative for a total change can come. Lokavidya Tana-bana is the place where such engagement may find a beginning.
- It is a knowledge movement that activates, enlivens and makes public the Lokavidya Tana-bana. This knowledge movement has the same relation with the world of Humanities, which the epoch making knowledge movement of the medieval times in this country had with the world of devotion.
